Special Interest Groups
Special Interest Groups seem to be gaining more attention or notoriety and conditional pampering than the many average Americans these days. Whether they are based on race, color, religion, creed, or affiliation to some emotional purpose our government has apparently felt the need to address them in search for political power, legislators have enthralled them with corralled promises, and even given them grandiose exposure to catered seats in DC.
It seems that particular groups who have monetary resources, like famous endorsers or especially those backed by foreign interests, get a little more favored treatment than the hard working everyday American family and we are forced further and further from our moral obligation; to exist in peace with our fellow neighbor.
On several occasions, the average American is forced to adhere or conform to standards that jeopardize their moral conscience, their standard of communicating, their instructions to their children, the behaviors of eating or how their food is raised. Almost every aspect of our lives has been allowed to be manipulated and controlled based on a group that demands this special treatment or for laws to honor their demands.
Our principles of liberty need to be strictly guarded from unconstitutional requests, demands, and affiliations with any group, regardless of size, political might, legal leverage or industrial restraints. America needs to return to her original course; “in order to form a more perfect union”, and the only way that can be adhered to is keep America, America. Return government back to the limited restraints contained in the constitution and by all means, return the study of civics back into our education, thereby teaching our children that they may have a different opinion, but unless it is supported by the constitution, it cannot become law. And if they were properly informed of our system of government, they might be able to secure those liberties for the next generation.
We can exist with all types of ideas in America, some might still be able to persuade their state to adopt certain provisions in their community, but not to the sacrifice and detriment to the entire American society.
States reserve the right to with the different issues that may arise, and statutes and privileges may be granted by a case by case basis.
America is a people, sovereign and just. She protects her own, and aids her neighbor, but to maintain that sense of honor, duty and integrity, she cannot be compromised by a tyrant, a group, organization or corporation who only has selfish motivation and is contradictory to the creating of a more perfect Union.
